Original list, with explanations in the link:
- To play as a mercenary
- To play as an alien
- Proper muscles on female characters
- Batarian squadmate
- Biotic subplot
- Straight love interests
- Alignment-based love interests
- Weapons and Armor basically unchanged from 3, but tweak/nerf "set" armor
- Scars
- Not having to make story decisions based on squadmates' usefulness
- Proper playtesting
- Unique bosses
Addenda:
- To be seen holding my current weapon in cutscenes
- To holster weapons properly in cutscenes
- For characters's fingers to actually map properly to their weapons
- To be able to skip cutscenes/dialogue (2 did this right; 3 was a major backslide)
- Noncosmetic rewards for beating the game on higher difficulties (e.g. better weapons)
- Either the PC or a squadmate who's fresh out of boot camp
- To actually get in trouble with my superiors
- To slam an asteroid into something in the DLC (ME3 dropped the ball. It was tradition, man!)
- A mission lifted directly from Starship Troopers and/or Aliens.
- Absolutely no Blasto the First Hanar Spectre/Elcor Hamlet jokes; they've been done.
- To have more non-PC squadmates/characters. I don't mean Jack, I mean people who use the terms "pureblood" or "suit-rat" regularly.
- Don't touch the combat/power system. It is much better in 3 than in the first two games.
- One "hub." I don't like getting in and out of the Normandy trying to track down items in various stores.
- Better casual uniforms. Just look at the mods, people.
- The same protagonist in all three games (this is Mass Effect not Dragon Age)
