Legends of Tomorrow could just rename itself Sara Lance Murders/Seduces Everyone

And it is excellent.

Season highlights: basically every episode that isn't 2.04, "Abominations," but especially 2.05, "Compromised," 2.07, "Invasion!," and 2.08, "The Chicago Way."

Season lowlight: 2.04, "Abominations," easily.

See, Legends decided that it's going to be late-70s Doctor Who, complete with a new I-can't-believe-the-BBC-didn't-sue-them hexagonal console for their time machine. "Accept the madness of the setting and let's just have fun" is basically the order of the day, and this has allowed to let them pastiche samurai films (2.03, "Shogun"), westerns (2.06, "Outlaw Country"), and The Untouchables ("The Chicago Way").

"Abominations," on the other hand, decides that it's going to be 12 Years a Slave meets a rather bland zombie story. Meets Alien, I guess, once Zombie!Mick starts terrorizing the ship. It just doesn't work.

I'm enjoying the hell out of the supervillain team-up, although Malcolm Merlyn just shows up in 2.08 without any overture and no clue on either this show or Arrow as to what he's been up to since Darhk was defeated. (That said, watching Sara wipe the floor with him was immensely cathartic - remember, Malcolm bombed the Queen's Gambit, setting Sara up for six years in hell, and then orchestrated her murder to further his own schemes.) If you asked me mid-Arrow-season-4 if I wanted more Damien Darhk, the answer would have been a resounding "no," but deprived of his powers he's a more interesting villain.

I'd also like to see a bit more of the Reverse-Flash, rather than just having him zoom in and wreck everybody's day. Despite the fact that the guy's been around for three years now, remember that most of the time he was played by Tom Cavanagh; Matt Letscher hasn't had that many opportunities to make his mark on the character.

Post-Craig Review: Dr. No

Back to the very beginning. This is a lie. "The beginning" would surely be a review of Ian Fleming's 1953 novel Casino Royale...
