5x07, take 2

Let's put a more positive spin on things.

The Winterfell Pile-Up is probably going to be a bloody mess. Let's see, we have Stannis, Davos, Stannis's Crazy Wife, Stannis's Crazy Priestess, Shireen, Roose, Ramsay, Sansa, Theon, Brienne, and Tri-Pod out there. That's 11 important characters. And no matter how you slice it, probably half of them are going to be dead by the end of the season. Sansa's probably safe - again, this is that curious Arthur Dent definition of "safe" nobody else is familiar with - but all the rest are up for grabs. If Mels bites it, that's going to... complicate Jon's plotline.

In Dorne, Tyene and Bronn just took the roles of Arianne and Ser Arys Oakheart. I suppose my frustration with that whole Dornish plotline is that Doran is a very patient player, and since I'm a fan of his actor, I want to see him do stuff.

Stannis might somehow just happen to get word that Balon Greyjoy has finally kicked it. That might set him over the edge and cause him to try to burn his daughter. I dunno. Maybe the writers just forgot about the rest of the Greyjoys.

I literally do not care about Sam/Gilly. I didn't care about it in the books and I don't care about it in the show. If you're not going to send the fat bastard off to the Citadel to start a new and intriguing plot, then kill him the f*ck off, I really don't care.

RIP Aemon Targaryen. Also, calling it right now, that little brat who killed Ygritte is going to be the one to stick the first knife in when we get to the Ides of March scene.

Olenna's in King's Landing because Mace Tyrell was supposed to be there in the books, but he's been shuffled off to Tykebomb City. Pedobaelish is there because he's decided to take a more active hand in Cersei's downfall, I guess.

Post-Craig Review: Dr. No

Back to the very beginning. This is a lie. "The beginning" would surely be a review of Ian Fleming's 1953 novel Casino Royale...
