Fair warning: this post is going to assume you've read through at least A Storm of Swords.
So at first I thought it was kinda amusing that they cast Natalie Dormer - Anne Boleyn on The Tudors - as Margaery Tyrell, given that once again she's playing a character who wants to be the queen, not just a queen, and is perfectly willing to marry a psychopath to increase her family's political power.
But something else occurred to me this morning. In The Tudors, Henry goes through six queens, including Anne. In A Song of Ice and Fire, Margaery is currently on her third king...
Bonus: Natalie's Rolling Stone interview basically seconds every reason I have for loving the changes they made vs Book!Margaery. Not that Feast is my least favorite book in the series, but I think Cersei's plot in that season will be vastly improved by the knowledge that Margaery is an actual player.
